In an effort to assure a smooth transition to the Year 2000, key OneNet operations and technical staff will be "on-site" to address any issues resulting from the date change. Further, staff will be on duty January 1, 2000 monitoring, testing and validating OneNet's systems to assure they are fully functional and that all reporting mechanisms are operational.

It is important to note that high volumes of clients accessing OneNet at the date change may result in slower performance of the network. Dial-up customers may also experience "busy" signals when they attempt to access the Internet. It will not be necessary for OneNet customers to call to report these issues. OneNet's comprehensive monitoring systems will automatically alert staff to network difficulties and failures.

OneNet's customers are encouraged to call the toll-free hotline NOW to ask questions about OneNet and the Y2K conversion.

Call toll free between 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
